SUNNY

Some souls arrive like morning after rain,
Undoing grief with nothing but a bright smile.
Near them, the weight of yesterday grows light,

No sorrow seems too great to bear awhile,

Yet even the most glowing heart must rest from shining.

RAINY

Rain falls as tears upon a weary face,
And washes words too painful to be said.
In silent hours, old wounds begin to speak,
No hand can stop the thoughts that fill the head,
Yet every shower leaves this earth renewed.

CLOUDY

Clouds drift where certainty once stood,
Leaving the heart to wander without a guide.
One longs for answers hidden from the eye,
Under a sky where doubt and hope abide,
Yet still the soul moves onward through the haze.

STORMY

Storms rise when grief and anger share one throne,
Thunder speaks the words the lips conceal.
Over the heart fierce winds wage their war,
Reminding us how deeply we can feel.
Many break beneath such raging skies,
Yet many rise more steadfast than before.
